Line two 20cm diameter round cake tins with baking parchment and turn oven on to 200 C / Gas 6.
Mix flour, butter, sugar and eggs together and beat until smooth.
Chop the milk chocolate into tiny pieces or chunks. Add to the mixture and mix. Divide the mixture between the 2 tins and smooth the top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 30 minutes, or until the cakes test done when a skewer is inserted in the middle.
Meanwhile make the icing: Beat together butter, icing sugar and milk until pale and fluffy then whisk in melted chocolate.
Once the cake is ready leave to stand for 15 minutes then transfer to a cooling rack. Once completely cool add the icing. Simply spread over the top of one but don't add too much as the other half of the cake goes on top. Then spread over the rest of the icing on the top and enjoy.
