Banana and lemon smoothie

    A lovely, thick creamy, shake or smoothie, made with bananas and yoghurt. Guaranteed to be a winner. Enjoy!

    Serves: 1 

    • 2 medium bananas
    • 2 tablespoons lemon yoghurt
    • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
    • 120ml semi skimmed milk
    • 1 teaspoon of sugar or honey (optional)

    1. Add all ingredients to a blender and process till smooth.


    Serves 1 person, you can also add honey instead of sugar. And if you are vegan just make with a plant based milk like soya. You can also add a slice of banana to the side of the glass for decoration. Don't forget your straw!

    Used 1 frozen and 1 fresh banana to get a thicker consistency. Didn't have any lemon yogurt, so I used vanilla Greek and added some lemon zest. The lemon-banana combo makes a good smoothie.  -  06 Feb 2015
