Lemon and mustard glazed gammon steaks

    To cut the salt of a gammon steak after cooking, spread with a mixture of lemon curd and mustard. Forget the pineapple!

    Ingredients
    Serves: 2 

    • 2 gammon steaks
    • 1 knob butter
    • 1 teaspoon prepared mustard, or to taste
    • 2 tablespoons lemon curd (I used homemade)

    Method

    1. Snip gammon rind with scissors to stop curling up.
    2. Place in pan with knob of butter over medium heat. Cook till nicely crisp on both sides.
    3. Serve steaks with mixture of lemon curd and mustard spread over top.
