Awesome ice cream cake

    Title says all. You can add any of your favourite ingredients to this ice cream cake or anything you have in your kitchen.

    Serves: 8 

    • 150g Oreo® cookies
    • 60g Crunchie® bar (or honeycomb)
    • 2 litres of softened ice cream of your choice
    • 60g honey roast peanuts
    • 120g chocolate chips
    • sauce for serving (e.g. chocolate, butterscotch)

    1. Crush Oreo® and Crunchie®, leaving some in relatively large chunks and some crumbed.
    2. Line a 20cm springform tin with clingfilm both on the bottom and around the sides, over hanging the top.
    3. In a large bowl mix together the softened ice cream, peanuts, Oreo®, Crunchie®, chocolate chips and anything else you want to add.
    4. Once mixed in, scoop the ice cream mixture into the springform tin and flatten it out before covering the top with cling film.
    5. Place in the freezer to set for an hour or two.
    6. Sprinkle with any toppings you like. Cut into slices just as you would with a cake and serve with sauce.
