Tuna turnovers

    These tuna turnovers are a great party snack. They are really easy to make and taste good hot or cold.

    Makes: 24 turnovers

    • 100g tinned tuna
    • 2 tablespoons sweetcorn kernels
    • 1 spring onion, chopped
    • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
    • salt and pepper to taste
    • 225g puff pastry
    • 1 egg

    1. Combine tuna, sweetcorn, spring onion, mayonnaise and seasoning in a mixing bowl.
    2. Roll out pastry and cut out 8cm (3 in) circles (24 total). Spoon a little filling into the centre of each.
    3. Brush a beaten egg around each circle and fold in half. Decorate with leftover pastry, brush with egg and bake for 20 minutes at 200 C / Gas 6.
    4. Eat hot or cold.
