Oven chicken nuggets

    A tasty chicken nuggets recipe with very little fat, adored by children! Serve with potato mash or baked potatoes and salad.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 4 

    • 4 boneless, skinless chicken fillets, cut into nuggets
    • 250g breadcrumbs
    • 60g plain flour
    • 2 eggs, beaten
    • salt and white pepper to taste
    • olive oil

    Method

    1. Preheat the oven to 200 C / Gas 6.
    2. Beat the chicken pieces lightly to flatten them a bit.
    3. In 3 different containers put the flour, the eggs and the breadcrumbs.
    4. Salt and pepper the chicken pieces and then dip them first in the flour, then the egg and then the breadcrumbs. Make sure they are crumbed evenly. Repeat procedure for all chicken pieces.
    5. In a large oven pan place a sheet of baking parchment and add nuggets on it leaving a little space between the pieces. Sprinkle some olive oil on them.
    6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until nuggets have a golden colour.
