Slow cooker Quorn chilli

    Serves: 8 

    • 400g Quorn mince
    • 1 onion, diced
    • 2 sticks celery, diced
    • 1 green pepper, diced
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 600g passata
    • 3 (400g) tins kidney beans, drained and rinsed
    • 125ml water
    • 1/2 tablespoon chilli powder
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
    • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
    • 3/4 teaspoon dried oregano
    • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

    Prep:15min  ›  Cook:8hr  ›  Ready in:8hr15min 

    1. Place all ingredients in a slow cooker.
    2. Cover and cook on Low for 8 hours.

    I didn't know what to expect with slow cookered Quorn, expecting mush but o my, tastytasty x made it twice, first to the exact ingredients then had a little tweak, quartered the recipe and use chopped tomatoes and baked beans and added sweetcorn as I didn't all have the ingredients x result a little sweeter but a winner x πŸ™ŒπŸΌπŸ˜  -  17 Jan 2016

    Very easy to make and very tasty. I had two delicious dinners from it and the rest is in the freezer for another time. I hope it freezes well. Edit - I don't recommend freezing it.  -  04 Apr 2017
