Slice the banana using a sharp knife and place in a food blender or use an electric whisk and jug.
Peel the tangerine and split into the different segments, then place into the blender or jug.
Chop the apple up into slices, remove the seeds and then place in the blender or jug.
Add the grapes as they are, blend or electric whisk all the ingredients together to create a thick yet smoothy-like consistent mixture.
Add the frozen banana slices or ice and blend. Whisk again until smooth.
Pour the milk in and stir with a dessert spoon, until thick and creamy, yet retains a consistency of a smoothie.
Pour into a tall glass and serve!
If making for a dinner party, you can add a raspberry on a cocktail stick and place delicately over the top of the glass for a sophisticated look. Ice cream may also be used instead of milk to create a more desserty type drink.
