150g (5 oz) plain flour
25g (1 oz) cornflour
50g (2 oz) caster sugar
150g (5 oz) butter

Preheat oven to 180 C / Gas 4.
Put flour, cornflour and sugar into a bowl. Cut butter into pieces and rub into the flour mixture until it resembles breadcrumbs. Mould to a dough with your hands. Roll out, cut into shapes and place on a baking tray.
Place in the oven. These should cook in about 10 to 12 minutes, until a pale golden colour.
