Easy homemade baked beans

    Tasty and easy peasy. Beans are so good for you and make for a filling and protein-rich vegetarian meal.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 4 

    • oil for frying
    • 1 onion, chopped
    • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
    • 1 tin mixed beans
    • 1 tin tomatoes
    • 1 chilli, chopped
    • salt and pepper to taste

    Method
    Prep:5min  ›  Cook:25min  ›  Ready in:30min 

    1. Heat oil in a pot and fry the onion and garlic until translucent. Add the beans and tomatoes, chilli and seasoning to taste. Simmer gently for about 20 minutes - yum!
