Easy tomato sauce for anything

    I was messing about with my new blender. It takes minutes and can be used for anything. It's nice as pasta sauce, a soup. On chicken. If used for pasta why not sprinkle your favourite cheese on top and grill. It can also be frozen for a later date.

    Serves: 4 

    • 1 large red pepper
    • 1 large onion
    • 1 tin tomatoes
    • 4 cloves garlic, or to taste
    • fresh or dried basil, to taste
    • 1 dash Worcestershire sauce
    • 2 to 3 tablesspoons tomatoe puree

    Prep:5min  ›  Cook:5min  ›  Ready in:10min 

    1. Add all ingredients in blender and blitz to a paste.
    2. Either freeze for later or warm through and add to the recipe of your choice.


    You can fry two to three rashers of bacon, chop, and then add to the sauce for extra flavour.
