A rich chocolate cake with a little bit of cream cheese to tone down the rich flavour. You can use icing/frosting as well but I like how the cream cheese tastes. When choosing the melting chocolate, make sure you use some that you like to eat plain.

Crumble cupcakes into a fine breadcrumb mixture. I like to use a food processor to make sure it is all crumbled down evenly.
Use your hands to mix cupcake crumbs with cream cheese. You may need a bit more or less. You want the mixture to be about the consistency of cookie dough. Use your hands to mould mixture into balls about the size of a golf ball.
Melt the chocolate and then pour it into any tall glass.
Dip either a fork or lollipop sticks into the chocolate and quickly push it into the cake balls. Now take the cake pops and gently dip them into the melted chocolate until completely covered.
Sprinkle on decorations and then gently push cake pop sticks into Styrofoam or let stand in a tall glass until chocolate is completely hardened.
