About this recipe: This delicious biscuit crumbles at the slightest touch and is heaven in your mouth! Just four simple ingredients needed.

Serves: 12 

  • 300g self raising flour
  • 30g cocoa powder
  • 250g butter
  • 125g caster sugar

Prep:10min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:20min 

  1. Put the oven to 180 C / Gas 4.
  2. Sieve the flour and cocoa together.
  3. Cream together the butter and sugar in a separate bowl. Fold in the dry mixture.
  4. Roll into walnut sized balls and press down on them using a fork. Leave loads of space on the baking tray.
  5. Bake for 10-15 minutes until you can place a skewer in one and it comes out clean.


to create plain, add 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract instead of cocoa.T

These biscuits are divine.... only difference I made was to pop some dark choc chips on just before they go in the oven, have made them many times now and they never fail, even my husband likes them, thanks for sharing the recipe - 09 Mar 2013
