Fruit chilli burger

    I call this the "Le Bistro des Vila Chã" Fruit chilli burger. A naughty decision I made on a boring, rainy day; now it's going up on our bill of fare. The ingredients are shown per burger.

    • 150g minced pork and beef mix
    • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
    • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
    • 1/4 teaspoon basil
    • 1 teaspoon fruit chilli
    • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
    • salt to taste

    1. Mix all the ingredients together, except for the salt. Rub a pinch of salt on the burgers and season each with the mix. Allow to rest for 10 minutes.
    2. Warm a frying pan up and wrap the individual burgers in foil. Kick up the heat and grill the burgers, 3 to 4 minutes on each side.
    3. Remove from fire, slit small holes on the foil and allow the meat to rest for 1 minute. Serve.
