About this recipe: A quick and easy way to make your own chocolate from scratch. This no cook recipe for chocolate can be enjoyed as is, or you can add chopped nuts, dried fruit, etc.

Serves: 6 

  • 1 heaped tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 heaped tablespoon icing sugar
  • 1 heaped tablespoon dried milk
  • 25g unsalted butter, softened

Prep:10min  ›  Extra time:1hr  ›  Ready in:1hr10min 

  1. Put all of the dry ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Make sure that there are no lumps by either sifting or using a pestle and mortar.
  2. Add the very soft butter and mix well.
  3. Spoon into silicone moulds or a silicone ice cube tray and chill until firm.


These proportions will give a dark chocolate mix. To make a milk chocolate mix use 1/2 level tablespoon cocoa powder and 2 heaped tablespoons milk powder.
