Low calorie strawberry smoothie

    Delicious low calorie and low fat strawberry smoothie. Ideal for breakfast or at anytime of the day. This recipe makes one large glass.

    Serves: 1 

    • 150ml semi-skimmed or skimmed milk
    • 100g reduced fat fromage frais (plain or flavoured)
    • 100g fresh strawberries, hulled

    1. Whiz all the ingredients together in a food processor or with a hand-held blender and pour into a glass and enjoy.


    After trying this with natural plain yoghurt I've found that it needs a little something else to taste for sweetness (if you prefer it sweeter). Perhaps honey might do the trick. I have found that the Weight Watchers® layered fromage frais (fromage frais on top and a small layer of fruit purée at the bottom) works really really well rather than plain yoghurt, it obviously depends on what taste you're after.
