About this recipe: These are super easy jam tarts. You need just three ingredients, that's it! Use your favourite jam, or even a variety of jams in the same batch.

Makes: 12 jam tarts

  • 150g plain flour
  • 75g margarine
  • cold water
  • 12 teaspoons jam

Prep:15min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:30min 

  1. Sieve flour into a bowl.
  2. Rub in margarine.
  3. Add cold water by the teaspoon until you can bunch the pastry into a ball.
  4. Roll out pastry thinly.
  5. Cut it into circles and line 12 patty cases.
  6. Put a little jam in each, about a teaspoon, but do not overfill.
  7. Bake in an oven for 15 minutes at 200 C / 180 C Fan / Gas 6, or until golden.
