Black peppercorn sauce
This simple black peppercorn sauce is great for dressing up beef or chicken, and it is exceptionally simple to make.
Ingredients

- 1 (227ml) pot double cream
- 2 tablespoons black or green peppercorns
- 1 1/2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon brandy

- In a small saucepan, heat cream over medium low heat, being careful not to boil. Stir in peppercorns, Worcestershire sauce and brandy and simmer for 2 to 5 minutes. Serve immediately.

Should the peppercorns go in whole or do they need crushed or anything? Also, can the brandy be replaced with whiskey or left out completely? - 06 Dec 2012

read a lot of recipes over the net. first joined this site only to say how horrendous this recipe was. i could barely eat it, ruined my meal. when my girlfriend made it herself, she was sick. better recipes on this site. sorry for the bad feedback. - 04 Aug 2009
