This mousse dessert is incredibly easy to make and yet tastes like something you would get in the poshest of restaurants. A great dessert for Valentine's day or a special occasion. Simple, smooth and elegant.
340g Bournville® chocolate
55ml Cointreau® liqueur
6 eggs, separated
30ml double cream

In a bowl over boiling water, melt the chocolate. Add the butter, stir to melt then remove from the heat. Add the liqueur and chill in the fridge for 20 minutes.
In a separate bowl, whisk the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Fold the egg whites into the melted chocolate gently and gradually while trying to create as much air as possible. Whisk the double cream until peaks form and fold this into the mousse also.
Spoon into individual ramekin dishes and chill in the fridge overnight.
