Preheat oven to 160 C / Gas 3. Line two baking trays with baking parchment.
Measure out all ingredients except chocolate chips and put into electric blender bowl in no particular order. Mix all the ingredients together for 5 minutes, stopping to clear the dry ingredients off the side of the bowl. If mixture seems too wet, add some flour. Add the chocolate chips and mix for 1 minute.
Roll some mixture on floured board until 1cm in depth, cut out squares or circles and place on prepared trays.
Bake the biscuits in hot oven for 7 minutes. Allow to cool down before moving off the tray.
When cooled, dip the biscuits upside down into melted chocolate and place on greaseproof paper, then decorate with candy sprinkles, desiccated coconut, grated white chocolate, chopped nuts, etc.
I really looked forward to this recipe unfortunately there is no chocolate in the recipe apart from the optional drops,I added 50g of coco powder instead of 50g of flour and I also had to add some water as the mixture wouldn't comes together.here's a photo of the result. - 31 Jan 2014
