    Strawberries for sharing and a bit of romance. Serve on a plate garnished with mint and flowers, or for a gift, pack in a pretty container and tie with ribbon.

    Serves: 2 

    • 1 small punnet of large strawberries
    • 100g soft marzipan
    • 1 bar high quality very dark chocolate
    • mint leaves and small edible flowers for decoration

    1. Hull the strawberries and fill the cavities that remain with marzipan. Chill for 30 minutes in fridge.
    2. Melt the chocolate in a small bowl set over a pan of simmering water. Take the strawberries one at a time and dip the pointed ends in the chocolate, then place on baking parchment till set.
    3. Arrange on a plate and decorate with mint leaves and flower heads.
