Peanut butter cakes

    These little peanut butter cakes can be enjoyed with a hot drink during a rainy afternoon! This recipe is so easy :)

    Serves: 12 

    • 4 tablespoons smooth peanut butter
    • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
    • 125g light brown sugar
    • 2 eggs
    • 125g flour
    • 1 teaspoon baking powder
    • 4 tablespoons milk
    • 100g chocolate chips

    1. Turn oven to 180 C / Gas 4. Line a muffin tray with paper cases.
    2. Put peanut butter and butter in a bowl, add sugar, and beat with wooden spoon.
    3. Break the eggs into a separate bowl, add vanilla extract, whisk well. Add a tablespoon of egg to the butter mixture and beat well. Continue adding it like this till the egg is all mixed in.
    4. Sieve the flour and baking powder into the mixture. Add milk, then fold everything together with a metal spoon. Add chocolate chips, fold in. Spoon mix into the paper cups.
    5. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until light golden colour.
