Remove the core from the apple, place on a sheet of foil.
Split the pod and scrape the seeds into the core of the apple. Sprinkle sugar onto the apples and wrap in the foil.
Place on barbecue and cook for about 30 minutes, till soft.
Serve with homemade toffee and vanilla ice cream.
The size of your BBQ depends on the amount of apples you wrap in the foil, I put in a maximum of 3.
Either use the split vanilla pod for extra lift or place in some sugar to infuse and use at a different point for cakes, etc.
