Cut the hotdogs into little 1cm rounds and fry with a little oil in a nonstick pan with the onion and beansprouts. Cook for about 5 mins on a medium heat or until the beansprouts and onions are soft. Add the 1/2 jar of sweet and sour sauce and Chinese 5 spice. Warm the whole thing up until slightly bubbling.
This recipe uses 4 hotdog sausages from a jar, but other hotdogs would work fine.
The beansprouts and onion are optional.
