Slice the smoked salmon into thin strips. Roll into a small ball and place in each canapé case.
Season the crème fraiche and add a small amount to the canapé, sprinkle some fresh dill on to each canapé before serving.
Ingredient amount will vary according to guest number. You should allow about 5 canapés per person. Boxes of ready to fill canapé cases usually come in packs of a dozen or more.
If you do not have any fresh dill to hand, dried dill will work fine too.
