    About this recipe: A delicious and tasty appetizer which can also be served as a canapé. Great for elegant dinner parties and civilised gatherings.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 12 

    • 1 small pack smoked salmon
    • Pidy® ready to fill canapé cases
    • salt and pepper, to taste
    • 1 tub crème fraiche
    • chopped fresh dill, to taste

    1. Slice the smoked salmon into thin strips. Roll into a small ball and place in each canapé case.
    2. Season the crème fraiche and add a small amount to the canapé, sprinkle some fresh dill on to each canapé before serving.

    Tip

    Ingredient amount will vary according to guest number. You should allow about 5 canapés per person. Boxes of ready to fill canapé cases usually come in packs of a dozen or more.
    If you do not have any fresh dill to hand, dried dill will work fine too.
