About this recipe: This is a recipe straight from my granmother's recipe cards. It is a real classic!that is perfect with some Nativo Aji Picante Sauce, a hot pepper sauce available exclusively through Cuban Cuisine UK

  • 1 small onion, minced
  • 1 small green pepper, minced
  • 3 medium tomatoes, peeled, seeded and diced medium.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley
  • 1/4 cup fresh green peas
  • 6 well beaten eggs
  • Salsa Aji Nativo (available through Cuban Cuisine UK (
  • salt and pepper to taste, or try taking it up a notch with a sprinkle of Goya's Adobo with Habanero, a blend of tropical spice with a spicy touch. (available through Cuban Cuisine UK (
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 6 well beaten eggs


  1. Saute the peppers, peas (if fresh)onions and tomatoes, parsley, salt and pepper until tender.
  2. Add in peas (if canned), eggs and keep stiring until eggs are well scrambled.
