About this recipe: If you want a minty treat try these peppermint creams! Little white balls of peppermint. A simple minty treat!

  • 450g Icing Sugar
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1-2 teaspoons of Peppermint Flavouring/Essence


  1. Sift the Icing Sugar into a bowl.
  2. Carefully put the egg whites into a different bowl making sure of yolk or shell.
  3. Add half the icing sugar to the eggs while mixing well with a wooden spoon.
  4. Mix for 5 minutes
  5. Add the rest of the icing sugar and the peppermint flavoring and stir well until the mixture is stiff
  6. You may need to add more icing sugar
  7. If you haven't already, line a baking tray with greaseproof paper
  8. Using your hands, make little balls or flat ovals (or any other simple shape) with the mixture adding icing sugar if it gets sticky
  9. Put onto the tray
  10. Put the tray into the fridge for around 10-30 minutes, depending on when they are firm
  11. When firm, take out and eat!
  12. You can either put them back into the fridge or put in a box and keep the box in a cool and dry place.


Add more peppermint flavouring depending on how much you are going to make. example: if you only use 200g of icing sugar only use around 1 teaspoon of peppermint flavouring.
