Afters dessert

    This quick and easy sundae takes only a few minutes to assemble.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 2 

    • 6 to 6 large strawberries
    • 1/2 tin (200g) pineapple pieces, crushed
    • 2 tablespoons strawberry jam
    • 2 slices chocolate fudge cake
    • 4 scoops ice cream (flavour of your choice)
    • For the decoration
    • whipped cream spray
    • wafer biscuits (optional)
    • sprinkles

    Method

    1. In a bowl, chop up strawberries and add pineapple pieces. Mix and squash both fruit lightly with a fork. Don't mix too much, leave chunks.
    2. Add strawberry jam and mix with a spoon. Leave to one side.
    3. Place a slice of chocolate fudge cake in each sundae glass or dessert bowl. Top it with a couple of tablespoons strawberry and pineapple mixture. Add 2 scoops ice cream to each glass.
    4. Top it all with canned cream spray. Add wafers and sprinkles to decorate. Serve straight away!
