About this recipe: This incredibly rich and delicious chocolate pudding is the perfect ending to any indulgent meal. I use only the best quality cooking chocolate with 70% cocoa content or higher as I have found this to give the best results.


Serves: 8 

  • 150g butter
  • 200g cooking chocolate
  • 150g caster sugar
  • 4 eggs, whisked
  • 1 teaspoon plain flour
  • crushed pistachio nuts, to taste
  • mint leaves, to garnish

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 C / Gas 4. Line a cake tin with baking parchment.
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter and chocolate then add the sugar and stir continuously. Pour into the prepared cake tin.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes until the edges are firm yet the centre is still gooey. Cool. Add the eggs and flour and mix well.
  4. Serve with crushed pistachio nuts and fresh mint leaves.
