Cuban hot crab dip

    A lovely warm cheesy crab dip, enhanced by Cuban spices. Perfect with some pita bread or plantain chips.

    Serves: 8 

    • 280g cream cheese
    • 4 tablespoons soured cream
    • 170g crab meat, flaked
    • 1 tablespoon Goya® sazon completa
    • juice of 1/2 lemon
    • garlic granules, to taste
    • 1 tablespoon Nativo® salsa aji
    • salt and pepper, to taste
    • grated Parmesan cheese, to taste

    1. Preheat the oven to 180 C / Gas 4.
    2. Place the cream cheese in a microwave on high for 1 minute to soften well. Then mix in the soured cream.
    3. Coat the crab in Goya® sazon completa and squeeze the lemon juice into the mixture. Spoon crab mixture into soured cream mix and stir carefully until well blended. Add garlic, hot sauce, salt and pepper to taste. Transfer the mixture to an ovenproof serving dish.
    4. Top with some Parmesan cheese and heat in the oven for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and serve hot.
