This hearty beef goulash is an easy choice for dinner, it just needs a little planning ahead or you could even make it in the slow cooker. Serve with rice, mash or other vegetables. We love this dish heated up on toast the next day.
This dish is easily adaptable for a slow cooker. Just brown the meat before combining everything in the cooker then cook, covered on Low or Auto for 6 to 7 hours.
Pleasant enough but a bit bland. It would benefit from the use of more paprika and some garlic, either a couple of cloves crushed and cooked along with the onion or a teaspoon of puree along with the tomato puree. - 19 Dec 2014
