Golden Yorkshire puddings

    Once you find a good recipe for Yorkshire puddings you never deviate from it, because the thought of your puds not being as good as you know they can be is utterly horrifying. Enjoy these light, flavour packed puds for now and eternity.

    Ingredients
    Makes: 24 small puddings

    • 6 tablespoons beef dripping
    • 3 eggs
    • 600ml full fat milk
    • 1 pinch salt
    • 225g plain flour

    Method
    Prep:10min  ›  Cook:45min  ›  Ready in:55min 

    1. Preheat the oven to 180 C / Gas 4. Grease either one large tin with the beef dripping or divide it amongst smaller tins like a muffin or cupcake tin.
    2. In a large bowl, combine the eggs, milk and salt and whisk until creamy. Gradually add the flour and continue whisking till smooth. Pour into the prepared tin(s).
    3. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes until risen and golden. Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
