Cuban Mango and Apple Crumble

    Here is a tropical twist on a traditional favourite!

    Ingredients

    • 200 grams mango pulp (available through Cuban Cuiaine UK)
    • 5 small apples
    • 1 cup sugar
    • 1/3 cup brown sugar
    • 6 tablespoons butter
    • 1/2 cup plantain flour (available through Cuban Cuiaine UK)

    Method

    1. Nestle segments of apple in oven proof pie dish.
    2. Mix mango pulp with sugar and pour over apples
    3. Use remaining ingredients to create a crumble and place over apple/mango mix
    4. Bake at 186 degrees for 25 -30m minutes or until crumble is crusty!
