110g softened butter
55g caster sugar
55g finely chopped walnuts
110g plain flour
2 teaspoons instant coffee granules

Preheat the oven to 190 C / Gas 5. Grease a baking tray.
In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the walnuts, flour and coffee granules and mix well to form a dough. Turn out onto a floured board and roll out. Cut into biscuits using a fluted cutter and transfer to the prepared baking tray.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until firm and golden brown.
