My family loves hob nob biscuits and the variants I make. The recipe is very easy to follow and I often jazz it up by adding raisins or chopped mixed nuts or mixed peel or chocolate chips at the mixing stage of the recipe. The family's favourite hob nob variant is raisin and chopped mixed nuts.
If you have a less of a sweet tooth then me, reduce the amount of sugar and leave the golden syrup content as per the recipe. I have lowered the amount of sugar to 100g and the biscuit is still delicious and moreish.

Thanks for the simple, quick recipe. I reduced sugar to 120g and baked a batch of gluten free and a batch using regular sr flour; both delicious! Will definitely repeat this one! - 26 Sep 2013
