Good except not enough spice, even though I doubled up!!.... also made with brown bread instead of white.... OK but will add even more spice next time...also cooked for longer than stated....trying to make it like my mum used to...wish she had showed me or written it down before she passed 😟 - 27 Nov 2016
nice recipe though it doesn't actually tell you to soak the bread for an hour in the instructions, it only says it in the top line with the temp etc. Will certainly try again - 24 Apr 2016
Lovely served warm with cream! I halved the raisins and added cooking Apple chunks (we have an excess of them!). I also did not add the sugar topping to lessen the sugar content. - 08 Oct 2015
