About this recipe: Thick sausages rich gravy with onion, mushrooms and black pudding.

  • 6 Good quality pork sausages
  • 2 Blackpudding rings
  • 1 onion
  • 4 mushrooms
  • 250ml beef stock
  • tbl spoon flour
  • pepper


  1. soften onions in a skillet don't brown them add the mushrooms cook of for 3-4 minutes.
  2. add the flour coating onions and shrooms then the black pudding, cook the black pudding for a few minutes each side before breaking it up with wooden spoon.
  3. mix onions, shrooms and black pudding well before adding the stock and pepper, cook for 20-30 minutes till thickened.


Serve with mashed potatoes and vegetables
