Colston Bassett Stilton cheese pasta with broccoli, walnuts and figs

    This simple yet tasty pasta dish is bursting with flavour and really simple for a mid week supper. Colston Bassett Stilton cheese has a lovely flavour and is great for cooking with.

    Serves: 4 

    • 500g fusilli pasta
    • 350g broccoli florets
    • 3 tablespoons olive oil
    • 250g walnuts
    • 110g chopped dried figs
    • 280g Colston Bassett Stilton cheese, crumbled
    • salt and pepper, to taste
    • 110g creme fraiche

    1. Bring a large saucepan of salted water to the boil and add the fusilli. Cook according to the instructions on the packet or until 'al dente'. Drain.
    2. Meanwhile, steam the broccoli florets for 7 to 9 minutes over boiling water until tender but still firm. Set aside.
    3. Combine all of the remaining ingredients in a large saucepan with the pasta and broccoli and warm through. Toss well to mix and serve immediately.
