Best cookies ever

    Chewy, gooey, crisp. There's not much more to say about these amazing cookies except 'yum'! Milk chocolate, white chocolate, fudge, banana chips - these cookies have it all.

    Makes: 16 to 20 cookies

    • 150g milk chocolate
    • 85g white choc
    • 100g fudge, cut into small cubes
    • 100g dried banana chips
    • 200g unsalted butter, room temperature
    • 170g golden caster sugar
    • 130g soft brown sugar
    • 1 large egg
    • 1 teaspoon good quality vanilla extract
    • 1 generous pinch sea salt
    • 415g plain flour
    • 1 heaped teaspoon baking powder

    1. Preheat oven to 200 C / Gas 6. Line tray with baking parchment.
    2. Chop chocolate into chunks, fudge into small cubes, banana chips into small pieces and mix together. Set aside.
    3. Cream butter and sugars together. Once creamed add egg, and vanilla and mix, then add generous pinch of salt.
    4. In a separate bowl mix flour and baking powder. Add the creamed mixture to dry ingredients and mix the dough with your hands. Once dough is formed add all the chocolate, fudge and banana chips.
    5. Roll dough into small balls, the size of a golf ball and do not flatten, bake as a ball! Place on the baking tray. Make sure there's at least 2cm between each cookie so they don’t spread into each other!
    6. Bake for 7 minutes maximum – should be golden brown, then it's munchy time!
