In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time and beat until well mixed. Add the bicarb, baking powder, flour, salt, lemon juice, fruit, nuts, orange vodka and tea. Mix well and allow to rest for 3 hours.
Preheat the oven to 190 C / Gas 5 and grease a loose bottomed cake tin.
Transfer the mixture to the prepared cake tin and smooth the top.
Bake the cake in the oven for 30 to 40 minutes until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean. Remove from the oven, cool then serve.
