Preheat the oven to 200C / Gas 6. Grease a baking tray.
Spread out the pastry and brush with the melted butter. Cut into 15cm squares then layer one square on top of another to make a star. Repeat until all pastry is used up. In the centre of each star add a little cranberry sauce then divide the goat's cheese between the parcels. Draw up the corners and pinch to create an open basket.
Bake in the preheated oven for 5 to 8 minutes until the filo pastry is golden brown.
