Oaty cookie bites

    Oaty little bites, like mini oatmeal cookies. Make with chocolate chips, or add sultanas, currants or raisins.

    Makes: 2 dozen biscuits

    • 75g granulated sugar
    • 110g self raising flour
    • 110g porridge oats
    • 110g butter, melted
    • 1 tablespoon golden syrup
    • 100g milk or white chocolate chips (optional)

    Prep:10min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:20min 

    1. Mix all the dry ingredients together. Add the butter and golden syrup to make a dough. Add chocolate chips, if using. Roll into balls and place on baking tray lined with parchment.
    2. Place in a preheated 180 C / Gas 4 oven for about 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp.

    Yummy!!! still warm out of the oven and tastes delish! i added sultanas to the mixture but next time i will add some melted chocolate on top when they are ready.  -  14 Sep 2014


    used sultanas...brilliant recipe, you would probably need to double up as these were eaten so fast in my home that I need to bake more today !!!!!! many thanks for a simplified recipe !!!!!!!!!!  -  12 Sep 2014
