About this recipe: My housemate is on weight-watchers and as it is nearing the blustery wintery weather I thought it was time to get the old slow cooker out and my get my creativity on! I am an avid fan of spicy foods, not to mention I love being healthy. For those on weight watchers this hearty supper serves 6 and is only 7 POINTS! Full nutritional info at the bottom... hope you enjoy. The starch in the pasta should thicken the stew up but if you like a really thick stew add a little cornflour. Also if you prefer a firecracker stew add more chilli.
If you like your stew spicier add chilli to your taste. I love bonnet chillies myself. Same goes for making it thicker or thinner.

Lovely recipe. At first I wasn't sure it would be enough for 4 servings but once it was dished out and served with crusty bread it was lovely and plentiful. Will be making again. - 03 Jul 2015
