Easy broccoli casserole

    This broccoli casserole is comforting and super easy. Just four ingredients and you are on your way to a tasty vegetable dish.

    Serves: 4 

    • 1 large head broccoli, cut into florets
    • 1 (400g) tin Heinz® broccoli and Stilton soup
    • 150ml double cream
    • 85g grated Parmesan cheese

    1. Preheat the oven to 180 C / Gas 4.
    2. Combine the broccoli florets, soup and double cream in a baking dish and toss to coat the broccoli. Arrange the broccoli in a single layer in the dish. Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese on top.
    3. Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes until the broccoli is tender and the cheese is golden brown.

    Vegetarian tip

    Parmesan cheese is not truly vegetarian, as it contains animal rennet. To make this dish 100% vegetarian, omit the cheese or find a suitable vegetarian substitute made without animal rennet. In supermarkets look for the 'parmesan style hard cheeses' which are suitable for vegetarians.
