About this recipe:Imagine serving a Shot glass full of Curd Cheese which has been delicately flavoured with Cinnamon, finished with a spoon of redcurrant jelly and a crispy bacon stick. Its festive cheer in a glass with its subtle warmth and aroma of Christmas with a savoury edge of the salty bacon. A sure-fire talking point of any meal!
A 30g packet of Ground Cinnamon (Not all is needed)
A small jar (200-300g Average) of Redcurrant Jelly
1 packet of ready cooked crispy bacon
6-12 Shot glasses (Plastic or Glass)

Start by placing all your Curd cheese in a mixing bowl.
Open your packet of Cinnamon and start by adding a Teaspoon into the Curd cheese, then stir in. Repeat this process tasting in-between to ensure that there is a Cinnamon flavour without it overpowering the cheese. Its personal taste really but you want to taste the cinnamon & cheese together.
Once your satisfied that you have the correct balance of Curd & Cinnamon mixture spoon a teaspoon of redcurrant jelly into each shot glass. (Tip: Use the leftover redcurrant jelly by spooning into a little bowl and serve during your Christmas dinner)
Finish the shot glasses by adding 1-2 teaspoons of the Curd cinnamon mixture into the glasses. (If you have any mixture leftover you could top up the glasses)
Grab a sieve and dust the top of the glasses with some cinnamon for presentation.
Open the bacon and break/cut into long pieces about 3-4cm (Tip: It will be brittle so be as careful as you can) then place into the mixture like a straw.
You now have some very creative Festive Shots for a dessert. Enjoy!
