450g diced lamb
2 tablespoons plain flour
3 tablespoons butter
2 large white onions, chopped
3 large apples - peeled, cored and chopped
3 large potatoes, peeled and diced
1 swede, peeled and roughly chopped
1 sprig fresh rosemary
1 sprig fresh thyme
1 bay leaf
salt and pepper, to taste

Preheat the slow cooker to Auto or Low setting. Toss the lamb in the flour.
In a frying pan over a medium heat, melt the butter and add the lamb, cook and stir until browned on all sides. Transfer to the slow cooker and add the remaining ingredients. Cook on Auto or Low setting for 6 to 7 hours until the lamb is tender. Serve hot.
