Cook pasta as instructed on the packet.
Chop spring onions and black olives very fine.
Add the peas to the pasta when a couple of minutes of cooking time is remaining.
Drain the pasta and peas completely. Whilst still warm cover completely with olive oil and salt and pepper. Add the spring onions and basil, and gradually add the pesto spoon by spoon (not too much as it can over power).
