    About this recipe: These flapjacks make a lovely treat for the whole family. These flapjacks are beautiful with a wonderful chocolate hazelnut taste. Even though these flapjacks taste amazing they are also low in fat.

    Ingredients
    Makes: 8 flapjacks

    • 350g porridge oats
    • 110g soft brown sugar
    • 5 tablespoons melted butter
    • 4 tablespoons honey
    • 3 tablespoons Nutella®
    • 1 to 2 handfuls dried ingredients, such as chopped nuts or sultanas (optional)

    Method
    Prep:10min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:25min 

    1. Add oats and brown sugar to a bowl and mix together. Add the melted butter, honey and Nutella® and mix thoroughly! Flatten into a square tin.
    2. Bake at 180 C / Gas 4 for about 15 to 20 minutes. Take the flapjacks out of the oven when they are lightly golden but still squishy. They will harden, so don't wait till they are hard to take them from the oven! Squishy is good!
    3. Leave to cool and harden for about 45 minutes, and then enjoy!

    Tip

    Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
