About this recipe: I have got an electric mini donut machine for my son's birthday and I used an adapted Victorian sponge recipe because I did not fancy the doughnut recipes that came with the machine.
You can coat these with icing, glaze, sugar-cinnamon mix, chocolate, sprinkles, etc. I make a glaze from the juice of melted frozen strawberries and sugar (that have been left until their juices come out) mixed with icing sugar. I warm the mixture and dip the donuts.
