About this recipe: A simple and packed with flavour lamb dish for two. Use any lamb chops or steaks and be generous with the herbs.


Serves: 2 

  • 4 lamb chops, steaks or cutlets
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 30g chopped fresh herbs (oregano, thyme, parsley, basil)

  1. Preheat oven to 190 C / Gas 5. Lightly oil a foil lined baking tray.
  2. Place the lamb chops on the prepared tray. Season well with salt and pepper. Combine the herbs and oil and sprinkle over the lamb.
  3. Bake in the oven for 10 to 20 minutes, depending on size. Juices should run mostly clear, but lamb can be pink in the centre to your liking.
  4. Serve with any of the juices and extra herbs poured over the lamb.


Can also use pork chops or medallions for a great alternative to lamb.
